God Loves a Terrier

Terriers are one of my favorite dogs. In general they are smart, energetic and cute. I hope to one day own a terrier. These are some of my favorites, in alphabetical order.

The Carin Terrier is incredibly cute and energetic but would require grooming.

The Glen of Imaal Terrier or Irish Glen is very cute, requires very minimal grooming but it is a rare breed there are only 500 registered in the US.

The Norfolk Terrier is hardy and lives for 12 to 15 years. It's coat requires weekly brushing and ocassional trimming. I am not usually a fan of the short tail but this dog is undeniably cute.

The Parson Russell Terrier is incredibly energetic, smart and loving dog. If not properly trained and socialized they can be difficult dogs. They typically live for 15 + years but some common health problems are joint problems and eye problems. I would wait until I have a yard to get this dog.

The West Highland White Terrier, or Westie makes a great companion they travel well and make a great watchdog. They are general healthy and live to 15+ years
